Traxxas themselves even said you can run 4s lipo. It isn't good to run 4s for prolonged periods of time though. When you run 4s lipo you should instally the speed pinion and watch the temps carefully. the blinking led als can mean that you have low votage or there is a problem, not always overheating. I hope you take my advice.Īnd icebreaker, if you had read my first post you would know that you can use 2s lipos in series, you just need the novak 4s lipo cutoff. Now think of how much more you are getting by going with zippy lipos and the hyperion charger all for under $200. You also may want to look at their Zippy Flightmax 2200 mah 2s lipo batts, they are a great combo of speed and controlability. I personally bought two and they are fantastic. These are easily better than max amps lipos and are fantastic and last a while. You need to look at you can get 2 3s Zippy 1600 mah lipo batteries for $48 shipped, which is a fantastic deal. Next, for the lipos, do not buy venom batts, common sense are good, but way too expensive, and max amps are not very good batteries and cost way too much.
